Changing the perceptions of emobility.
Overview
The world is changing and with EU targets for reducing carbon emissions high on the agenda, emobility has now become a key word and is dominating the debate on the future of transport for policy makers, research institutions and industry..
Many major manufacturers are due to release new products into the market covering a wide range of possibilities from micro-hybrid to full electric vehicles......BUT.....
THE PROBLEM: the move from a conventional vehicle to an evehicle is not an easy or automatic shift and there are big uncertainties surrounding the attitude and purchasing behaviour of consumers in the market place.
SO...
How can we challenge the perceptions of emobility?
Hethel Engineering is a partner in PROSESC, a European funded project and has gained funding and sponsorship to run a competition for Creative Industry and Engineering Automotive Companies to address this very issue. We have up to £7,000 to award to a winning submission(s) that will address the issue above through creative industry/automotive engineering collaboration.
The Competition (What is it?)
AIM: To challenge the perceptions of emobility, removing the barriers to embracing e-vehicles and associated technologies.
The Challenge: Use your creative talents to provide a solution this problem! It's as simple as that! Have fun with it! We are seeking you to submit a solution that would change the perception of e-mobility through:
You might decide to submit:
- A Website/ design
- Printed literature, artwork, designs, images
- Video output/media clips/ moving images
- Audio output (such as sounds for an electric vehicle)
- Storyboard
- A marketing strategy
- Social media campaign detail
- .....any creative approach you think would suit.
You can look at the problem as a whole issue or focus on specific issues of emobility.
How you submit your solution is up to you, we are seeking your expertise in creativity and design.
The winning submission(s) (decided by a panel) will win up to £7,000 and the opportunity to join us in Stuttgart for a networking conference.*
What's the catch?
No catch....but you must be aware of the assessment criteria to maximise your chance of success.
- An understanding & appreciation of the issues & benefits of emobility.
- The creativity and innovation of the solution
- The reach of the solution (how far will it go to change perceptions - geographically and mentally)
- Submissions showing collaboration between Creative and Automotive/Engineering companies will gain more merit and should be evidenced.
- The feasibility of the solution.
We will also be wanting to find out how the money would benefit you and your business.
Who can apply?
